Our Client Nice Backyard is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join their team located in Somerton, 3062, Melbourne, Victoria.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the store for smooth running, maximizing sales, and minimizing costs.
  • Work in a store that provides backyard material such as Synthetic Grass, Garden Sheds, weed mats, Decking Tiles, Rubber Gym Mats, Bamboo Panels, and to possess the knowledge about all products.
  • Maintain excellent customer service standards, hire, expand, and manage the workforce.
  • Create staff schedules, conduct regular performance assessments, and make sure there is enough coverage during peak hours.
  • Organize and plan the product displays to increase their visual appeal and boost sales.
  • Maintain an organized warehouse (retail store) layout to ensure easy access to products and smooth operations.
  • Promote teamwork and foster a positive, productive work environment.
  • Manage inventory to ensure there is a sufficient level of inventory.
  • Manage orders, receive the deliveries, price updates, and special offers.
  • Ensure customer needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient
  • Help with stock allocation for peak retail seasons and ensure product availability aligns with store demand.
Qualifications
  • Applicant must have at least three years experience
  • A Bachelors degree
