Position: Restaurant Manager in Shepparton

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $71,000 plus superannuation per annum

Location: Shepparton VIC 3630

Our Client is seeking a full-time Restaurant Manager to join their Indian restaurant located in Shepparton Vic.

Tasks required include:

• Train and supervise staff
• Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations
• Maintain safe working conditions
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding the handling of cash, property, products and equipment
• Audit inventory levels to ensure product availability, and order products as necessary
• Coordinating daily restaurant management operations
• Responding efficiently and accurately to restaurant customer complaints
• Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
• Regularly review product quality and research new vendors
• Organize and supervise shifts
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
• Estimate future needs for goods, kitchen utensils and cleaning products
• Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
• Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
• Create detailed reports weekly and monthly
• Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events.

Requirements:

• Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma or higher in Hospitality management
• At least three (3) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed
• At least two (2) years of prior relevant experience in Restaurant Management
• Prior experience working in a India restaurant is highly regarded.
