• Create and construct a menu that takes into account the seasonal ingredients and local tastes, all the while capturing the true flavors of Middle Eastern food.
• Create trademark dishes that showcase the restaurant's distinctive features and enhance the experience of the shisha and bar.
• Work together with the management group to launch seasonal products, specials, and new dishes.
• Prepare and cook a variety of Middle Eastern dishes, such as kebabs, hummus, falafel, shawarma, tagines, mezze platters, and traditional breads. Ensure consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation for all dishes.
• Oversee the preparation, cooking, and plating of meals as well as the everyday activities in the kitchen.
• Supervise and instruct kitchen employees, making sure they follow health and safety regulations and appropriate cooking methods.
• To prevent shortages, keep an eye on stock levels, manage inventories, and place orders for materials as needed. Prevent food waste by storing ingredients properly.
• Ascertain that the kitchen satisfies all local rules regarding health, hygiene, and safety.
• Keep the kitchen spotless and make sure that all tools, workstations, and utensils are properly sanitized.
• Work together with the shisha lounge staff to integrate shisha options into special dining occasions or promotions in order to provide patrons with a seamless experience.
