Our Client, Nathan Dunn Racing Pty Ltd, is seeking a passionate and experienced Horse Trainer to join their dynamic team, dedicated to developing top-performing thoroughbreds in a professional and supportive environment located in Cranbourne, Vic 3977.
- Work with vets to help keep horses healthy, fit, and happy.
- Train horses on the ground and under saddle to improve their behavior and performance.
- Create training plans that match each horse’s needs and goals.
- Prepare horses for racing, competitions, work, or riding for fun by building their strength and focus.
- Teach riders and stable trainees how to care for and train horses safely and correctly.
- Spot and fix behavior problems in a kind and effective way.
- Help stable staff with daily horse care, including feeding, cleaning, and grooming.
- Keep clear records of training, feeding, and any medical treatments.
- Follow all safety rules and make sure the work area is safe for people and horses.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant study in equine science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in the horse training industry.
Competitive salary of $77,000 per annum plus 12% super.
