Our Client The Trustee For Let Us Feed You Unit Trust T/A No. 19 Cafe Ascot Vale is seeking an experienced Cook to join their team located in Ascot Vale VIC 3032.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and present a variety of breakfast, brunch, and lunch dishes in line with standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Assist the Chef in the preparation of high-demand menu items, ensuring consistency in quality, taste, and presentation.
- Portion, season, and plate dishes accurately, including the application of sauces, garnishes, and accompaniments.
- Ensure the freshness, quality, and proper storage of all ingredients, following FIFO stock rotation practices.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations at all times.
- Monitor portion control and minimise food waste through efficient preparation and storage methods.
- Support the kitchen team in daily operations to ensure timely and efficient service during busy periods.
Qualifications
Relevant Qualification and minimum 3 years of work experience.
