The role involves preparing and baking bread and other baked goods, ensuring high quality and consistency, following food safety standards, and maintaining a clean work environment. Experience in baking and operating commercial baking equipment is preferred. At Roxy Kabab, we serve food with freshly made bread. - Mix ingredients to make doughs and batters for breads, buns and rolls.
- Operate baking equipment like ovens and dough mixers.
- Shape dough into loaves, rolls, or other baked goods before baking.
- Bake items at correct temperatures and times to ensure quality.
- Check baked goods to make sure they look and taste good.
- Adjust oven settings and baking times as needed.
- Decorate or finish baked products, such as adding toppings or fillings.
- Follow food safety and hygiene rules while preparing and baking.
- Clean baking equipment and work areas regularly.
- Plan baking schedules to meet customer demand or daily production needs.
- Order ingredients and supplies when needed.
- May supervise or train junior staff or apprentices.
Certificate III in Baking
3 years of experience in baking and operating commercial baking equipment is required.
Competitive salary of $77000 per year plus 12% superannuation.
