Our Client Network RV Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker to join their Epping, Vic 3076 team. You will be responsible for various tasks related to the construction of high-quality caravan cabinets, including kitchen, couches and other furniture assembly in the caravan.
- Assemble pre-cut wood parts into furniture like cupboards, drawers, and storage units for caravans.
- Build custom furniture to match the exact size and needs of caravan interiors.
- Install hinges, locks, drawers, shelves, and cabinets inside caravans.
- Make frames, chairs, kitchens, couches, and other caravan furniture.
- Mark, cut, and shape materials using tools or computer-based machines.
- Select, measure, and label materials to reduce waste and ensure efficiency.
- Read and follow technical drawings and plans to make and assemble furniture.
- Work with designers and engineers to adjust furniture for specific caravan layouts.
- Sand, stain, and finish furniture surfaces to make them smooth and durable.
- Apply laminates, veneers, or protective coatings as needed.
- Install furniture securely inside the caravan for safety and function.
- Customize furniture for special client requests or design needs.
- Inspect furniture for any defects and make necessary repairs to meet quality standards.
Cert III in cabinetmaking and at least 2 years of Australian work experience.
Competitive salary $74500 per annum plus 11.5% superannuation
