Our client The Coffee Club is seeking a skilled and reliable Chef to join their team at the Bendigo branch Cafe. This is a great opportunity for a passionate culinary professional to be part of a well-known brand.

Responsibilities
  • Directing the food preparation.
  • Preparation and cooking of all cuisines and a variety of menu items including chopping, toasting, grilling, and dressing.
  • Determining food inventory needs, stocking and ordering.
  • Demonstrate cooking techniques and advise on cooking procedures.
  • Be responsible for driving service standards to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Discuss food preparation issues and provide training to the other team members.
  • Ensure food cost is kept to budget while maintaining performance & quality standards.
  • Compliance with food safety and Workplace Health and Safety.
Qualifications

Certificate IV in Hospitality or equivalent.
Barista Course preferred
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Preparing high-quality dishes in a timely manner, daily baking and preparing food.
The proven ability to work well with others and under pressure in a busy environment
A good command of the English language
