Masala Valley Indian Restaurant 

Our Client Paul Family Kitchen Pty Ltd T/A Masala Valley, is looking for skilled and enthusiastic chef to join their kitchen team. As a chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes while ensuring top-quality food, cleanliness, and excellent service. If you love cooking, have strong leadership abilities, and are passionate about providing amazing dining experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Prepare a variety of Indian authentic Indian dishes, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian.
  • Create new curry recipes and update the menu from time to time.
  • Maintain high standards of taste, quality, and food presentation.
  • Manage kitchen supplies, restock ingredients, and take care of equipment.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
  • Train and support kitchen staff when needed.
  • Work as a team with the head chef and others to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
  • Work independently and manage kitchen tasks without supervision.
Qualifications
  • Cert IV or above in Commercial Cookery is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef, with a focus on a variety of Indian food recipes, presentation methods, and plating styles.
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and the ability to uphold the highest standards of personal hygiene.
