Our Client The Trustee For Let Us Feed You Unit Trust T/A No. 19 Cafe Ascot Vale is seeking an experienced Chef to join their team located in Ascot Vale VIC 3032.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and update menus in line with seasonal availability, customer preferences, and business requirements.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes while ensuring consistency in taste, portioning, and presentation standards.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, delegating tasks and ensuring smooth daily kitchen operations.
- Monitor food quality at all stages of preparation and presentation to maintain high culinary standards.
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food and labour costs in line with budget targets.
- Ensure strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health regulations.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff, maintaining a productive team environment and efficient service during peak periods.
Qualifications
Relevant Qualification and minimum 2 years of work experience is required.
