Our Client The Pyramid Bar & Restaurant seeking an experienced Chef and Cook to take on a leading role in our kitchen. This position requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to deliver high-quality dishes while managing daily kitchen operations as Chef and follow recipes, and maintain a clean and organised workspace as cook.

Responsibilities

For Cook

  • Prepare and cook a range of dishes to a high standard
  • Ensure all meals are presented well and served on time
  • Follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Assist with food preparation, storage, and stock rotation
  • Work as part of a team in a busy kitchen environment

For Chef

  • Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of menu items
  • Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including Cooks and kitchen hands
  • Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
  • Oversee stock control, ordering, and kitchen supplies
  • Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
Qualifications
  • Cert III in Commercial Cookery is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Cook/ Chef
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and the ability to uphold the highest standards of personal hygiene.
