Dion Luciani Racing is looking for four Horse Trainers to join the team in Ascot, WA. The job involves taking care of the horses, training them for races, following their exercise plans, and collaborating with veterinarians and stable staff to keep the horses healthy and performing at their best.
- Work closely with veterinarians to ensure the health and well-being of all horses.
- Carry out groundwork and under-saddle training to improve manners and performance.
- Develop and implement individual training and exercise programs.
- Prepare horses for competition, work, or leisure riding.
- Mentor and guide riders and trainees in correct horse handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of training, feeding, and veterinary care.
- Manage behavioural issues using humane and effective methods.
- Comply with OHS standards and promote a safe workplace.
- Collaborate with stable staff in daily horse care routines.
All applicants should have at least 2 years of full-time experience as a professional horse trainer, and having a relevant qualification is preferred.
- Salary package $77000 per annum+ 12% superannuation.
